Manish is a Senior Partner with McKinsey & Co. in New York and has been with the Firm for nearly 15 years. He focuses his work on serving healthcare institutions in the private and public sectors in the US, Asia, and the Middle East. He also leads the Firm’s client service in healthcare pricing globally.
He went through a personal transformational experience five years ago through learning an ancient meditation practice called Vipassana. Since then he has been an active practitioner and has also keenly introduced mindfulness practices through new McKinsey training programs for colleagues in New York and is supporting efforts to bring similar programs globally.
Through his own practice and experiences reported by others he has found significant impact and improvement in work productivity, general stress levels, overall well-being and interpersonal dynamics. In his book, “The Equanimous Mind”, he has chronicled his initial discovery of the technique and shared his experiences with mindfulness meditation and the positive impact it has had on his personal and professional life.
Manish, a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and is also a graduate of IIT Delhi.
